Behind The Botanicals

The Story

Four gin-loving friends created Brockmans in 2009, setting out to create an English gin like no other. With over 60 years combined experience and a wealth of knowledge in gin distillation, the group brought their dream to life by creating a spirit that broke the rules and challenged tradition.

For gin enthusiasts, it was a revelation. For gin novices, it provided an opportunity to discover an unexpected individual taste. Enjoy this gin on its own, over ice or in a cocktail, and drink in the brand’s commitment to novelty.

The Distillation

Brockmans’ distillation process is an integral part of what makes the spirit so distinctive. The unique recipe of naturally-grown aromatic botanicals are steeped in pure grain spirit for many hours to release their natural oils and aromas. The more traditional notes of gin are combined with a refreshing influence of citrus and aromatic wild berries.

The gin is then slowly distilled in a 100-year-old traditional copper still, which captures the heart of the spirit. The process and recipe work to deliver an exquisite and intensely smooth gin, with a uniquely defining sensual taste experience.

Molly's Staff Thoughts - Veronica's Pick

“This distinctive gin has a lot of fruit and citrus notes without being overly sweet on its own. Unlike other, less interesting gins, Brockmans is infused with blueberries and blackberries giving it an incredibly unique flavor. Coriander and Angelica undertones give it a sophisticated, spicy dryness. Brockmans makes a refreshing drink whether it’s a simple G&T or Tom Collins.”
